Trial By Death

Here is one of the great highschool punk bands out of E. Lansing Michigan from the 80's. Kirk Reedy captures the feelings of the many disinfranchised youth that we were.

These recordings were taken early in the bands short carreer. The band fragmaneted thusly. Norm began to take Kirk's suisidal, nilistic, psyopathic lyrics a too seriously on stage.  I was never able to repeat the walkman scrachings of the Linden show. 4 or 5 gigs later, Arron got an offer to tour with the Crucifucks. Later, Kirk moved on to Fat Amy, and some other bands I wasn't there for. Currently, Kirk is in a band called Ity Bity which i can say had a fine show around christmas time in 2001at Mac's and, as far as i know, is still playing the Lansing area.

This just in, Fat Amy will be playing on ABC Primetime Live, Sept 22 2003

Other bands playing around that time and frame of mind were:
11:55, Army of God. Crusifucks.

Thanksyous: the late Jeff Szeremet, for loaning me tape. Shawn Smith, Lisa, Jenny Pancakes Mitchel, Tracy Hankins, Jason Frank, Lara Stapleton, Jason Frank, Joel Kuzai, Gilman Miller, Raff AOG,

Recordings:

1st recording: Feb 1985. This was recorded in Kirk's basement. It was very loud. Norman didn't make it so Kirk had to do all the singing. It was a casual after school thing.
